About This File

A show of the preserved (not restored) historic mining town of Bannack in the Western USA.

I wanted to make a slideshow that somehow connected with the people who had lived there 150 years ago.

The template of the album was some years ago supplied by 'trailertrash"

Ken,

I am not sure if I understand your question.

I took all of the old time Bannack images from the internet and brochures, and put them on the virtual pages of the album.  Then to make it look real I used virtual tape in the corners.  (Thom had made that available many years ago).

The 18 century handwriting font was a real find, and I am still amazed, that what I typed appeared as beautiful handwriting on the pages of the album.

Thanks for watching,

Bert

Thanks Lin,

And thanks for your tutorial about the separation of the key points for the speed options.  Had to consult that a few times for this show.

Very nice.  We were there in July of last year.  Your pictures and album brought back very good memories!  Thanks!

5 stars Bert.  Maybe the best show I've ever seen.  Very touching for me.  Loved the superimposed figures whom I assumed were people who worked and lived in the various  structures.  Great stuff and as close to perfect as you can get.

Thanks for your comment Jeff.  It's nice to hear when your work touches some one.

Yes the super imposed people had lived in Bannack.
