About This File

I have had the idea for this slide show for some time, but a recent visit to the UK allowed me to shoot the images. They required Monochrome conversion with strategic colour. They also needed to be aligned just as they would be if shot from a Tripod, but these were not. All hand held, so align techniques were required to make them line up for the audio visual

Thoroughly enjoyed this show, as usual the photography was great. Thought the title coming out of the phone box to start and returning to phone box at the end was a great touch. Thank you for sharing.

I liked this show very much Barry, you always manage to come up with something fresh and exciting in your shows.

Thanks for posting

I am trying to find a different angle to present the images, so I avoid repeating too much what has already been done, but above all I want to avoid the novel and transigent effects. I was not sure about the appeal of this from both a music point of view (The Clash are not everyones cup of tea) and also the quick and fast presentation of images

So, thank you for your comments, they are appreciated.

Very beautifull Barry. Is there a possibility  that you give us a short explanation how you did the technique of making the photo's partial black and white?

I have already been thinking of doing that because I have a technique that makes strategic colour as quick as possible to do, but I was going to combine the aligning of images in the stop motion sections too.

Brilliant.  That's what I call an Audio Visual Images that relate to the music with appropriate timing and transitions.  I loved it.  Just what PTE was written for.
