About This File

A cacophony of pandemonium; sights, sounds and smells, people and pollution, resulting in a sensory overload.  The poverty and rubbish are in sharp contrast to the armed guards at gated hotels, where there is not a single leaf out of place.  On the streets; the children, who seem to have nothing, are happy and clean.  It's confusing, sometimes most disturbing, but a wonderful place to visit and (for me) a once in a lifetime experience.

Following Barry's advice, I re-visited this show that was V1 in 2015.  For some reason, it just didn't work for me.  But it now does in V2.

An excellent snapshot of India.  I liked the way you moved from Poverty to Opulence and then to Beauty as the music moved from sorrowful to inspiring and then to quiet. Possibly I may have moved some of the shots slightly to fit in with this theme but that is a matter of opinion and as you were there you would know best. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Wonderful show...the music choice was perfect.  Zimmer is one of my all time favorites and this particular piece called Time has a dark melancholy to it that fits the hardships of the people, and their struggles.  Really, I loved it more than any show I've downloaded in a long time.  Also, normally I'm not a people person as photography goes, but you had a perfect balance as pertains to when you put a  person in and when you put scenery in.  Fabulous.  I just can't say enough.

One question, and it isn't meant to be critical at all...how did you take pictures of the people in the streets?  I would find it extremely difficult to point a camera at someone toiling with there daily routine.   Did you do it secretly or offer something in return?  Just curious as I am a total coward when it comes to this sort of thing.

Again...terrific show in every respect.
